Hacking R4i SDHC Questions

Well, my friend bought a DSi yesterday and the original R4 does not work on it, so without telling me, he ordered an R4i SDHC.

I have a few questions to ask about it.

1. What card is it a clone of?
2. Where can I get it's latest firmware?
3. Is there anything else I should know?

Please don't flame on me, and thanks for all the help!

As far a I know the R4 SDHCs are R4 clones. http://www.r4isdhc.com/ Would be the homepage for software.

Hm, according to the All R4 Firmware stickied thread, the R4i SDHC red box one has the official site:
http://r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp

The firmware files and system files look a lot like a DSTT, so perhaps this is indeed a DSTT clone?

If so, ****.

Wish the friend asked me before hand, I would have told him Acekard 2i straight away.

Yeah, was all a blur.

Yesterday he told me he got a DSi.

Today he told me he already ordered an R4i SDHC.

Never asked anything.
