Hacking R4i SDHC Kernel for V1.3

I have V1.3 on my DSi. I want to play games and watch movies on my R4i SDHC . What is the best kernal to get without upgrading my DSi to 1.4?

what kernel? R4? or DSi?
R4i SDHC : check its latest kernel
DSi : no need to upgrade to 1.4, and DSi can't watch movie..
