Hacking R4i Save Dongle

My device hasnt arrived in the mail and my name was on the 2nd list of names. How much longer am I to expect to receive my device? I have to leave for a trip on friday and I want to be able to use this realy quick so I can give it a proper review.

Also I live in Florida if that matters.
 
well, to give it a proper review, you dont need it as soon as possible, but yeah, the first batch of people seemed to had theirs pretty fast (for a delivery from china) so people are expected to get antsy now. specially when they didnt give out any tracking numbers anymore

You should only speak in english in the forums. It is an english community website.

Anyways, I just got mine today, since I was sleeping during the day and only went downstairs didn't notice it, but it seems it arrived quite early today, although I don't get it why someone had to sign a paper to receive it...
 
The firmware uploader is asking for a bin file, but I can't find it anywhere!
 
I have sent them two emails the first reply they had no idea what I was on about like they forgot that they recently gave away 300 then 500 of them, the second email I've had no reply to and its been a week.

No tracking on display and only first batch got thiers and that took 3-4 days UPS/DHL won't have taken this long to arrive!

Just accept it they lied there is no tracking service for the other batches we are left with normal mail that is 7-14 days and no premium service, I'm no longer going to have time to review my item if it arrives after Christmas, let alone test it.

You don't have any logic in you're brain then... UPS DHL EMS were used in the ones we do have tracking details for.... EMS I am unsure how quick that is but DHL / UPS wouldn't take over a week to arrive!

EMS is slower as for how slow they are depends but it's supposed to be 5-7 days, maybe if R4i didn't waste all there money rushing out the first few items out on a UPS service they could have made sure everyone who is promised one doesn't feel disgruntled granted its free but they lack of customer service and consistancy doesn't do them selves favours.



EDIT: They are not all coming from China R4 haven't been truthful or straight forward on the matter, also not all even have a tracking number.

Mine just arrived but no tracking number or signed for just two postal stamps from Netherlands! So don't be expecting it any time soon :(

BE WARNED : It is free so we can't complain too much but consistancy and truthful informative info would have gone a long way.
 
That does it. It's been a long long time and I have already written them 3 seperate emails. No information whatsoever. Granted it's free but I was always under the impression that I will get a tracking number and that I will be able to track where it is. Had planned to give it an intense review testing several 3DS games and uploading my multiple SAVE files from one game. I don't care anymore. They can.....!..>!>%%#$ I will probably refuse its delivery and let it return.
 
I don't really see the need for tracking numbers... And it's comming from the nertherlands like previously mentioned and it's under priority so it's quite fast in europe (whenever I send letters to the nertherlands and vice-versa under express mail, it usually takes less than 3/4 days for the letter to arrive).

Please please please tell me that you're joking. DHL and UPS take over a week for some items shipped from and to within the country.
 
It could take a month and I wouldn't care. I am a little disappointed about the lack of organization, but seriously, no big problem. They are giving out, which means free (and taking their money), and giving their products (About 300) which are at least 20 dollars each, so with that much effort, I don't care when it gets here, as long as I get it eventually.
