Hacking R4I RTS HELP PLZ

I got my son a r4i rts card (ww.r4i-kungfu.com the brown and gold box one) it was all working fine until christmas day my son put his new mario 3d game in and updated to 2.2.0.so now the card dont work and i cant find the patch for this card.i have a normal ds as i have read u need one to do the update and the firmware i have tried keep saying NO FIND MSFORSC.NDS FIL. can some one give me a link to the firmware and instructions plz

Download link only supports V1.4.3+ 3DS V2.1.3

On the site it does state it only supports up to 2.1.3 so maybe that is why you are experiencing issues?
Try clear the card. Download and extract the new firmware and have a go from there.
and by the sounds of it, refrain from updating until your card provider updates there firmware

There is no update patch beyond 2.1.3, but at least you have a DS to still utilize the flash card.

That it is, but I haven't ever tried running Supercard's updates on a R4i-kungfu and didn't want to suggest it to the OP, causing a brick.

Should he still not try the original files that his cart provides? I mean, yes its a fake, but if the files are available he should use them right?
Sorry. Not questioning you at all haha. Just trying to get simplest/easiest results for shaky, Also to prevent a possible brick
