Hacking R4i gold cheats not working

Today, I received my r4i gold. I put in the required files plus metroid prime hunters. I pressed y to activate cheats but it said but it said error: no cheat found. Is there any way to fix this?

Did you put the cheat.dat (that has the cheats for the game) in the system folder?

If you don't mind, can you upload your system folder to Rapidshare or some hosting site, so I can take a look at it? (Just the system folder, don't attach the roms also!)
