R4i data wiped itself?

Found my old r4i for my 3/ds after 5/6 year of it sitting in a drawer
Went to check my pokemon platinum save data to see it all gone for some reason
Every other pokemon save (hg, white and black 2) works fine, yet platinum is nowhere to be found
I opened the file in a hex editor and it's all 0s, i don't know much about hex editing but i think that's probably bad
Now is all hope lost or is there some way to save my poor torterra and his team from oblivion?

Your SD card is probably damaged. Double-check it with h2testw, be sure to make a backup first and do a fresh format.
