Hacking R4i-3DS V1.46b pictures/skin

I have an R4i-3DS card and would like to change the wolf picture and other pictures. I can't find the wolf one on my firmware files, is it just a case of replacing them with my own pictures?

I'm pretty sure you can just go into your skins folder (located in r4imenu folder or something like that) and replace whichever image you want with the image you want to replace. Make sure it's in .bmp format and set to 256*190 resolution.

Oh, it said "pictures/skin" on the title, so I misinterpreted it. Sorry.

As for your question, the icon shown is the bootstrap/bootrom of your cart (the game that is used to fake the cart as a legit game, which allows it to circumvent nintendo's block). You can only change it when you update the bootstrap of your cart, but you won't be able to control which game icon it shows.

Actually, it could be done although I doubt anyone here is gonna take the time for such a minor change.

In order to do this :

1) Make homebrew to write to the card (not the microsd but the actual card)
2) Find a way to sign roms, which I think has been accomplished by 1 non-Nintendo member but he never released how. So GL with that.
3) Modify and sign the exploited rom
4) Flash the rom to the card using homebrew which hasn't been written
5) ???
6) Fuun!
