Hacking R4i 3DS Gold setup help

Hey guys, I need some help here.

My R4i arrived today, and I downloaded the wood file from r4ids.cn like a tutorial said to do, but instead of being a compressed file, it was a .rar file.

I can't seem to fix this. Can anybody help me here?
