I received my first of two R4is today (It took forever to arrive, so they sent me another as a sorry) and out of around 15 ROMS, only the two up the top worked; Dragon Ball Origins 2 and Animal Crossing Wild World.

The others had a [?] next to the title where that little avatar was meant to be.

It was like:

[?] Zelda Spirit Tracks.nds.
[?] Mario Kart DS.nds.
[?] Mario Party DS.nds.

And so on.

I got my ROMS from a trusted site, and tested them on my DS emulator on my laptop, and they all work fine, they just don't work on the R4.

I formated the SD, made sure I had the correct Kernal, I had everything needed to play, I just couldn't.

Now, to make matters worse, Animal Crossing and Dragon Ball don't even work now.

I'm using a Kingston 4GB Class 10, on an OG v6.3 3DS.

It doesn't make sense how two ROMS could work, but the others couldn't.

Could you guys dip into your mystical fountain of flashcart knowledge and help me please?

Thanks.

Here's a picture if it helps.

Small chance the microSD reader might be the issue. Start again and after formatting the microSD card try a different adapter/reader to transfer the files onto it not the supplied one or the one you used last time. That's the only thing i can think of at the mo but its a start.

I've started again like five times after formatting, and I only have the one reader.

Strangely, one game removed the [?] but it didn't work :/

make sure you are extracting the .nds files to the local computer before you copy them to the MicroSD
extracting straight to a microSD will cause corruptions also
