Hacking R4i 3ds games

hey guys my son has the card R4i 3DS and a R4i 1.45 for his nds(XL-Reg)

so we got him a 3DS Xl for x-mas and i was looking on the sites for r4 and they not to upgrade.so i din't connect it to the wi-fi yet.

i loaded the card with the latest firmware 1.64 from r4i-shdc.com (the r4i 3ds card)

so it loads fine i see the metroid demo icon.i click it and see the menu.but when i load the games it is blank..only the moon shell file is there.

so i tried to rename the games from.3ds to nds like the reg games.

it works i can see the games but the freez on load??

the firmware on it no 4.3.0 -9U

NOTHING PLAYS 3DS ROMS.

i downloaded 3ds games.
so this answers my question..

The current NDS Flashcarts can only play normal DS ROMs on the 3DS. that is why it see's only reg games with ext nds not 3ds...uhh .

thx for the info..hop it happens soon cause there is lots of 3ds games out there..

Do the research next time, chances are you wont be able to use your r4i to ever play 3DS games.
