My cousin (god damn him) broke my r4. I need to buy a replacement and there are so many new ones. Which one is best? (Do not comment if i don't know anything. im just a lazy guy. And i only trust (for some reason) the r4 series.

You only trust the R4. It's a commonly shared idea. Because of this, dozens of different fake and clone R4s (none made by the original team) now exist to take advantage of that trust. Don't buy anything that says R4 on it.

you guys are too harsh. I also trust R4 and it's not a dead end. I trust other cards too...but R4 is fine.

With YSMenu and some occasional patching, it's a wonderful card. I happened to get lucky and found a place that had some authentic ones. I'd buy it again if given the same opportunity...

If you want an R4, try the R4i-SDHC from r4i-sdhc.com (red box packaging), which I believe is currently one of the better clones.

Given that the original post is probably referring to an old, non DSi compatible R4, this point is probably moot, but in the event of a future upgrade to a DSi, I'd hold off on recommending the R4i-SDHC until at least the end of the week, just to make sure they follow through on the 1.4 upgrade.

I'd hold off recommending a R4 anything altogether. Buy a card from a respectable company like Acekard or M3. Have a look through this very R4 forum at all the posts with people having troubles with their R4s.
