Dude, no one is uptight. I said time isnt really the problem its the fact that their site hasnt been updated since last june or whatever.

Some people will never ever be satisfied. Lets take a look at some things before everyone spazz's out. First off this is the R4 teams first card. Thats right first damn card ever. And its near perfect. They have constantly updated the R4 and have brought a very cheap solution to the masses. The R4 has pretty much made the whole DS scene blow up. Some of us maybe forget about the old patching days or the old passkey 1 and 2 days. Some of you dont even rememeber because until the R4 came out you never even knew something like this existed. I guess my point is the R4 has exceeded everyones expectations and surpassed i think anything we could have hoped for. Drag and drop? doesnt get much simpler. So lets all chill out and wait and keep our fingers crossed they add shdc support. And if not i'll still recommend this card to everyone because nothing comes close to it in terms of value, quality , performance and overall support.

I actualy have the Simply, But I agree. Nothing does come close! I bought my DS just because of the R4/Simply. (Cant say that piracy doesnt help Nintendo)

However, the only feature that it really lacks is the wii connect. I am not screaming through the roof. If they never have it I will still say this is one rocking product.

But they really need to update their site. M3 kinda did, they added a M3 real page.

But if R4 is working on a new update they need to say so. If not they need to say so. On their site! That is not asking for the keys to the world. I want to know if I am even waiting on somthing or not.

I have bought several for my friends, and they work wonders. But if there is no update. I might look into somthing else that can talk to the Wii.

Thats all. I just want a status Update.

I am not mad about the time it takes, but their website scares me. It still said 2006 at the bottom, and it flashes NEW and it lists the v1.08.

Kinda makes me feel they ran away. Plus the M3 has a new one now, so maybe they dont care about the R4DS/Simply...

The 4GB is $50 on NEWEGG.com I want one, plus I want the PBR wii compatibility.. I dont want to have to get a new card.

What website are you looking at? r4ds.com flashes new after the "new shell coming" and lists the latest version (1.11).

Exactly. around $50, which is a little more than 2x 2gb memory cards would costs but much more convenient. MicroSDHC isn't expensive anymore - they are almost at the same cost as standard MicroSD's:

EG, in the UK 1gb is about £8, 2gb is about £12.50 and 4gb microsdhc is £26. (6gb is around £36).

That makes a 6gb microsdhc card CHEAPER than 3x 2gb standard microsd's.

wouldn't think that would be the case since the team behind the kernals aren't the guys who own the factories (i think)

Just because the factories were raided doesnt mean they cant program a new loader. All you need to program a new loader is a computer, and im pretty sure they have those in their house.

Just because the factories were raided doesnt mean they cant program a new loader. All you need to program a new loader is a computer, and im pretty sure they have those in their house.

You also need to not be in jail, which is where those caught up in the raid would probably be.

They raided a Flashcart "Factory" that produces the CycloDS Evolution. That's why there isn't any CycloDS Evos for sale pretty much anywhere.
