Just keep pressing R, you will be able to select rumble or ram, then it will reset.

When should i be pressing R?

Start GBA ExpLoader for the first time and you'll see the PSRAM mode screen. Press R to go to the NOR mode screen. Press R again to go to the Expansion mode screen. Press L once or twice to go back to the other screens.

Think I'm ready now to use that thing. All i have left to do now is wait for the mailman to deliver the 3 in 1 to me.

I have my 3 in 1 and its working perfectly, but I don't know what to use for playing GBA games. Do I have to use the PSRAM mode or the NOR mode? So what mode should I use/is the best for playing games?

Sram is MUCH faster but only temporary, meaning the game hase to be re-written when you turn it off. You can save the... save when you load the loader again
Nor is slower, supports 32mb roms and the rom stays until you write over it

But you can save with both the modes? And the saves remain even when you turn of the DS?

Does it depend what you should use with each game? Because NOR supports 32mb games.

Yup. The save pops up when you load the loader again. With nor it pops up when you try to write another rom
Oh and you can load games in the nor like you would a real gba game

Well, psram only supports 16mb or less, nor 32mb or less

to clear the discussion I had with destructobot, RTC on M3 ExpPack works without specialized patching. I tried Emerald in ExpLoader, the least likely patching combination.
