Hacking R4DS and new roms....

Hi,
I'm a user of R4DS for a long time...
I know the real R4 team is closed..
But I wonder what I will have to do for the newest rom I want to try...
I read something about use another menu and firmware, but didn't get exactly what I have to do and if this "trick" make my R4 still the best fash card...?
I make some research but didn't get anything precise..

this is a patch which will make most of the games playable, just follow the guide to install it on your r4ds

U could use YSMenu with R4YSauto; use the link below if you want to find a topic about installing it just search using the search button on GBATemp navigation bar and type in R4YSauto that way it makes an easy to install and use YSmenu and all the instructions on how to do it u can find there

Edit: don't use the link Darkrey made its a way but not the easiest and most handy way use instead this one:R4YSauto

Edit2: I used the make it bootable from the orignial R4 firmware way is handy because some games may not work with ysmenu and work with 1.18. One bad point--> Moonshell won't work anymore(on my R4 maybe there is a way to fix that(Used the boot with middle button way))
