Hacking R4DS and 4 GB?

I know that R4DS doesn't support SDHC, but according to Wikipedia there is a way to hack it somehow.

R4DS and M3DS Simply can't read SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards due to hardware limitations, although there are some reports that the clones can read at least some 4 gigabyte SDHC cards


So how, what's going on?

only the r4ds v3 support sdhc, the old one ( r4ds v1/v2) dont have support for it because they dont have the required hardware for sdhc support.

The R4DS V3 is a fake.
On the 15th September R4 will release a frimware, which destroys the DS, if you update with this firmware on your fake R4.
Just wait and hope that the new R4 firmware will bring us many new features and many fixxes =)

btw, R4 V.3 it support SDHC because it is DSTT with R4 sticker!
