i have a R4 Revolution card and i need to know if i can use a 4 gig micro sd card in it?

An original R4 cannot but most clones can

err, i think the normal r4 isnt able to take 4gb micro sd cards. 2gb was the limit

Non-SDHC cards are essentially limited at 2GB.
There are some 'non-standards' that have a 4GB capacity... but possibly won't work and are prohibitively expensive (~$60 USD).
