Hacking R4 Ultra Ysmenu no cheats

I am using an R4 ultra 1.55 firmware and am using the AceKard version of ysmenu.nds

when I highlight a game, there is no "... Cheat" button

I have downloaded the cheat.dat, usrcheat.dat, and cheats.xml from cheats.gbatemp and ysmenu does not show them for any game.

I am putting them in the __ak2/cheats folder

am I putting them in the wrong folder, or am i using the wrong files?


ps I can't find a way to change the default lighting, as the ak2 version of ysmenu does not use YSmenu.ini

You do know YSMENU doesn't work perfectly on R4 Clones, right?

The usrcheat.dat goes in either the ttmenu or ysmenu folder...

thats the thing, i am using the ak2 version of ysmenu, which doesn't use ttmenu or ysmenu folders

ak2 ysmenu is the only version that doesen'e give a dldi error when rom is chosen on r4 ultra

the roms run fine, and I'm glad for that, but there are some games that need cheats to work properly

i just want to know if there is any hope for me using the great functionality of ysmenu on my r4 ultra

o.0 why not just put in a ysmenu folder then...or the same place where you put the infolib/savlib/extinfo.dat?

infolib.dat & extinfo.dat only for R4/TT.
if you want to cheat founction, use koutei's (Rudolph) Ui-pack.

did u try da fraternity pack by rudolph......cuz i'm using rudolph's fraternity with no probs and i can use cheats with the latest infolib,savlib,extinfo

never mind, i found it, there is no space or dash in uipack

is there any way to get the uipack by itself? The only version I can find is with the ds env maker, and that wont work on my linux.

issue resolved!

I just made my own ysmenu folder on the root of my sd card and put usrcheat.dat in there.

cheats work great now!
