Mavis- Hey i noticed your response about updating that you will have to spend more money to update certain parts of your web site. Are you paying to have someone do your web site for you? If so why? you can do all of this in ASP which is super easy to learn. You can learn by picking up a easy learning book like ".ASP for dummies" or just by observing and learning by viewing code that people made at planetsourcecode.com...

or by using drupal or another CMS..

thanks mavis, rocking site!! i'll def load up my soon-to-come skins as well.

1 idea for ya though, wouldn't it be cool to be able to share user converted vids for moonshell?

Thanks mavis!

I just looked through your site and I'm loving it.

Got some skins that I liked so I'll be swamping when my current skin gets old.

Hi Mavis, you have done a great work on the website, I have a sugestion to make, can you display links to more than one block of skins in between the arrows?

The first skins are soo deep in the list that they loose possible downloads.

Yes, that's one of the issues I'm going to address next ... Althought TBH I don't think older skins are losing downloads - judging from my traffic stats it seems most people are flipping through the pages quite a bit ...

Speaking of which, I'll be posting a Top 10 Skins list soon, so keep your eyes out for that - I think everyone will be surprised to see what the #1 skin is ...

You should make a hash check. if some skin has the same hash as another, dont let it in. I see so many dupes! nice site though!

Actually, I think most of those are revisions, not dupes - if I delete the older versions, those links that were posted in the forums will fail (red X's, File not found, etc) ... So, I'm just leaving them up for now. Any suggestions on how I can manage this?

I really can't see you implementing this idea unless you go with a full blown "members" kinda thing. i.e. Have the site so that authors can sign up and then upload skins under their account, which would also be able to manage their skins allowing them to delete older ones and reup revisions with notes saying what's been changed. This of course would also allow people to browse/search skins by author. It'd be somewhat easy to implement with a CMS of some sort, it'd just be a hassle of trying to get your current script to work well with it. OR you could try to code something of this sort yourself but it'd be a decent bit of work and if you go with the whole "paying another coder" to do it, like you did with this script, it'd definitely cost more.
