Hacking R4 SDHC Dual Core - Not working

Hey guys.. i tried searching but didn't find any recent threads pertaining to my specific problem with the versions i'm using.

I bought the R4 SDHC Dual Core card from www.r43ds.org

My 3DS XL is on firmware 11.4.0-37U.

I downloaded the Firmware/Kernel from the site
https://www.r43ds.org/pages/R4-3DS-Firmware.html

It lists that it's compatible with 3DS 11.4.0.

I can get into the menu of the bootloader, and see the list of games, but when i run it, nothing happens.

Is 11.4.0-37U not yet supported or is there a working Kernel/firmware I can get somewhere ? Can I downgrade my 3DS firmware ?

Could you take a picture of your R4 and upload it here?
It might be easy to identify if you're using the wrong firmware.

Doing some research, looks like perhaps my card won't work for 3ds games. I confirmed tonight it does work for .nds roms, but not .3ds roms.

Should I grab this card ? (see link), will this work ? Has anyone had any experience with the sky3ds+ card ?

LOL just because it says "works on fw blah" doesnt mean it runs 3ds roms just that it works for NDS on 3ds fw blah if u want 3ds roms u need a Sky3DS+

Don't. You don't need to. Hack your 3ds following 3ds.guide.

Then you can run them directly, along with so many other amazing things.

This is assuming you're not on the latest update.
