Hacking R4 sdhc Cheat file

hi i just purchased an r4 sdhc

when i click on cheats it all comes up in japanese or chinese sorry im not sure, i then tried replacing the cheat.dat with another i found online now it just says no cheats found for each game, does anyone know the proper file or way i can go about fixing this

For that second cheat database you found, open it up on this program found on this site, it's called "r4cce (R4 Cheat Code Editor)":
http://home.usay.jp/pc/soft.html

This will show you if there indeed any cheats on it. If there are cheats then it's probably your r4 glitching. But we can discuss that later if it's the case. GL

thanks alot, ill download and give that a try..but it might of been stuffed up as i deleted my cheat.dat file and replaced it with i think the 2.5 meg one from this site...thanks for ur help ill try it

I had the same thing, so i switched to useing the YSmenu system, works good all english
