I have purchased this R4 apparently, although it was what was shown on the website I purchased it from.

That is what I paid for.

And this is what I got.

After putting the Kernel's on, just to try. This is what I got on my screen.

Keep in mind, I do not even have a Star Wars Game.

And when I try to run it, just to see what happens... I get a black screen.
My DS is not bricked, and I don't plan to try this again.

Is there anything I can do to get this seller in trouble, because the item was not as described?
I paid $35.00 and I am extremely upset.

The Star Wars icon means your cart is able to bypass the DSi 1.4 firmware update. It is SUPPOSED to display that.

If you get a black screen, odds are you are missing the firmware files or used the wrong ones.

You vastly overpayed for something that 5 minutes of research would have told you was a horrible idea. The blame lies mostly with you, not the seller. Caveat emptor.

I appreciate your reply, but you have to understand that what I paid for is NOT what I got... I linked to the website and the item shown is not at all what I got... It's not like I asked to receive something I didn't pay for... And you say that, it should be showing what it is... Well, if that is correct how could I be missing any files when I have downloaded them all and have all the correct files? What would I be missing, if you don't mind me asking...

What he meant is, you should've known you shouldn't get an R4, as nearly all R4's being sold these days are clones and most of the times just don't work or stop working after a couple of days. I suggest you get an Acekard 2, or a SuperCard DSone if you have a little more money.

That's what happens when you don't buy from a trusted site.

You could be missing files because I have no idea what you downloaded, where you downloaded from, or what this particular clone needs on the microSD root. You need to provide more info if you want someone to help with that.

In the future, just don't buy any product that says any variation of "R4" on it.

I understand... And I would like to seek help and advice before I trash the card just to make sure it doesn't work... -__-
If you don't mind helping, I will provide information.

I was reading their site... Which I will link. (http://www.r4sdhc.com/fun.asp) And it said:

Hardware Installation:

Connect the TF card to PC with the USB card reader; download the relevant language kernel file folder from the disk or www.r4sdhc.com. For each language kernel file, there are three directories of "moonshl2", "moonmemo" and "R4iMenu", and three kernel files of "_DS_MENU.DAT", "_DS_MSHL.NDS" and "R4.dat". Copy all the directories and kernel files to the root directory of the TF card.

I have all six of those files, on the MicroSD followed by the game/music. I start it, I see the Star Wars game option... I wait a few moments before doing anything. I click the Star Wars game option, and it goes to black screen on bottom, white screen on top. I have tried twice now just to make sure I repeat everything correctly.

It doesn't work, correct?

Nope, it's not working, most likely you have a faulty card, sorry. Try selling it on some garbage site like eBay, I'm sure there'll be people stupid enough to buy it.

Get a Acekard 2 or SuperCard DSone

Yep, ShopTemp is very safe and very reliable. I ordered an AK2i from them not long ago and received it a couple of weeks later (they ship from Hong Kong). It arrived safe and undamaged and the purchase was hassle free.
