Hello there, I've had a ds since it came out and have also had an r4 since it came out but recently, about 3 or 4 weeks ago my ds has been not recognizing it more and more. It's now gotten to the point where it just doesn't recognize it and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix it? I've tried the paper trick, cleaning with alcohol (the cart, the micro sd card, and the ds) and still nothing... My ds does still recognize actual cartridges of games, so I don't really know what's up.. Thanks for your help guys!

Not entirely sure why that would help, but i'll give it a shot!
Thanks

Sorry for the double post, but that worked perfectly, why does that work??

welcome to my world my contacts got bent and my r4 stopped working(or should i say my contacts) take a light and see if anything in the slto 1 shines if its shiny its bent

Okay well, the whole cleaning with an eraser thing did work, but now I'm back to square one... doesn't work again (and I tried cleaning it with the eraser again). My R4 is the R4: Revolution for DS one the original R4, it's not fake or anything... More help is required. Thanks in advance!!

For those who don't know what I mean I mean this: http://www.allproduc...td/product2.jpg

Its really cheap to get a new one, and a new one is better, since they don't even update their kernel...
