The title is pretty much self-explainatory, exemplified by the picture. If relevant, the console was bought in the US and is being used in Europe. The card I have is the one in the picture. I also noticed that it freezes when loading the ROM list if there's a file of 2 GB. What can I do? Also, the fact that the card software doesn't cover the whole screen in DS games like Pokemon Black bothers me, as genuine cards fill the whole screen.
The console is running the latest firmware version. The according card firmware was downloaded and installed from the provided site.

I'm just going to assume this isn't a joke and say that this card only supports DS games and not 3DS games.

Excuse my lack of knowledge, I'll get a Gateway card as soon as I can. But until then, can I make that darned thing run fullscreen?

But it should run in fullscreen by default, unless you hold Start+Select when booting.
If you mean the reduced resolution, no, there is no way around that (and it does indeed look awful)

There's a 2 week old announcement that they are almost ready with the 9.2.0 support, but they don't mention the U one, I guess that doesn't matter. Before getting a Gateway set, one last question: they aren't going to change the hardware in the card for the new software version, are they? So I don't get one only to find out I can't use it.

well apparently its the same hardware, and you won't need anything extra to use it, but other than that there isnt any more specifics on how it will work exactly

....in the meantime dont run any updates

You should get comfy waiting, because Gateway hasn't made their 9.2.0-20 U, E, or J compatible update... However, your wait should be worth it...

I apologize for hijacking but I wanted to ask this since I'm getting one as well. Is the latest firmware (9.2.0-20 U/E/J) different from the upcoming FW support for the Gateway? 9.0.0-20/9.1.0-20J/9.2.0-20?

Sorry if this might sound too obvious to ask.

The GW will probably work on all FWs but we can't say for sure yet because IT IS NOT OUT.
BTW to the other users: the last time GW promised a big feature it took them at least half a year to finish it (Multi-ROM). Maybe you are a bit overreacting.

Where it saying it working on all FWs? Please check again before saying such stuff.
