Hacking R4 Gold 3Ds Problem

Hi guys

My kids have DSi running 1.4.3a so I got them the R4 Gold 3ds card but cant get it to work
I have searched the net for answers but am at a loss

The R4 shows the Chessmaster logo

Have tried updating etc with a DSi with lover firmware version but update wont run

When it is in the DSi with n1.4.3a all I get is black screen with error power off etc

Does anyone know a fix and link to the downloads etc

Just have a look at the PCB inside the shell.
Is it the same as the picture below?

If it is, you can download V1.43 patch for r4i gold non-3ds card from www.r4ids.cn

Just have a try and read readme.txt attached carefully.

Tranfeer had a look inside mine last night and it is NOT the same as your photo

I ran an update from www.r4iDS.com in a DSi with lower version but all it has done is change the icon from chessmaster to dorasu and I still get error power of etc in the 1.4.3 version

This is really driving me mad and the kids

you mentioned that you ran the update from r4ids.com?

The other guy said r41ds.cn

not really sure if it makes a difference but try the cn site maybe.

Tried the .cn site as well the update wont run on my card it says it only supports cards fro .cn

You have a R4i Gold 2.0 r4ids.com

If you can't do that, you need to wait for a patch for your card or get a new card (better r4ids.cn this time). They are not expensive.

You should not get a r4i gold from r4ids.com.Yours is V2.0, which is r4ultra really.
If the website is r4ids.cn, you can download the V1.4.3 patch from r4ids.cn and update it.

One more question I am using a DSi with lower version to do this when I downloaded the patch there are two first one is DSL second DSi should I use the DSi patch ?
