Well google can’t figure this one out and the website listed is still an active team. You should just be able to download retro’s files and use the files from the “R4i-SDHC” folder.

I tried my friend's R4i with a v1.4.5 and a wifi stamp on it and it works, colud be the card's fault?

The error you got isn’t a kernel related error, it’s the error given because your cart is blocked by the system itself.

That is, after a given update in the DSi system, the card was blocked forever.

Not all cards are blacklisted, though, so:
