Hi, sorry for my english,
I have two 2GB micro sd cards (not sdhc) for my R4 with Wood. I have a little problem with one.
I checked cards with same results on two seems to genuine R4 with wood buyed from different shops.

Cards are formatted to FAT16. Tried FAT32 - same results.

First card ( no name) is all good without problems.Temperature same as ice:)). Playing games normal
but its little too slow ,for example with saving. So i buy faster one.

Second one is a lot faster ( sandisk). Playing backups very good without any lag and saving fast but is getting hot
after just 1-2 minutes and keeping same temperature over time.Even if i close my ds in saving power mode. Not so much hot , but its easy too
feel when I'm playing with stylus and holding console with one hand and stick fingers on cartridge ( i have hope you know what i mean)
Also i checked this faster sandisk card with phone - all good , same as ice:)), no overheating. So problem seems to exist only on two R4...

And i would like to use faster card...

So guys my main question. Is it normal that faster sandisk card is getting hot that i can easly feel ? Maybe some one can check it?
I'm worry ( maybe i should not??? ) about maybe battery drain will be bad.
But that is not big problem. Maybe voltage on ds slot will be too high and slot wil broken in some time (maybe its not possible??).

Do you have any suggestion or ideas what should I do?
Sorry for my poor irritating style english. Pls for any help and ideas.. Thanks in advice.

EDIT.
This is exactly this card you can see in this link ( code name is SDSDQB-002g-B35)
http://www.proline.p...-002g-b35_0.jpg

Also it seems genuine becouse i buy it from mall and it was fine packed... Everything seems ok. Also I personally think card is good ( maybe I'm wrong) becouse on two phones working fine.

Hmm, this is a new one on me, i can't say i have noticed the microSD becoming overheated, but there again i have never checked after a session of playing.

I suggest only purchasing a well branded microSD, such as Transcend.

This is good question. Personally i dont think heat will be a problem , but what with voltage? If it heat up it must drain more power. Why this happen? Maybe somebody know something about ds slot structure and say something about?
Or any ideas?
