Hacking r4 ds file sizes?

I am using BatchDPG and moonshell for the r4 ds. I have a 1 GB micro sd memory card. I plan to put movies in it. Approximately how small (MB) does movie files get when it is converted?

movies are like 1GB each... id rather not put "movies" in it..

I'd assume that, depending on the movies you could get 2-3 on it, due to it having to be down sampled to such an extent.
Though, I've never tried, so I could be wrong. But I could definitely see being able to get 2 onto a 1GB card.

I have 42 dpg movie files - they range from 110 MB (Happy Tree Friends - Firstblood..dpg)
to 346 MB (Pom Poko Eng.dpg). Average is 227 MB. Your mileage may vary.

Uhh, no. You're talking about .avi.

After you convert it into .dpg, your average 2-3 hour movie is around 300MB, I have 5 episodes of Will and Grace on my DS and together it's about 430MB -- you can do the math.
