Hacking R4 dc card issues!

Im having trouble with games being unknown after installing R4_V1.18_English.

My nds lite is 2008, and being downloading from romulation, also tried wood_R4.V1.61 with no luck at all.
Any ideas?

Shown below is what my R4 has on it,I downloaded a game and it just says "Error,This type of files currently not allowed to operate" My game is a (A).rar file

_SYSTEM_
_DS_MENU.DAT
_DS_MENU.SYS
_DS_MSHL.NDS

what is your r4 card?From which official website? tell more information about the card

Do the games normally run from rar files..?
