Hacking R4 cheat code editor v1.01 problems

im trying to add cheats for 1 game, so i followed the instructions on the page and even followed the format u guys have (im using the latest narin .dat) i put the game title and ID in (i opened the rom im using so i know the id is fine) and i make a new code , click the update code button and save..it looks just the same as all the other games

however , when i put it on my ds the code doesnt show up and when i goto open my .dat again with the program it crashes..yet i can open the narin one with no problems..

wtf am i doing wrong?

You should use R4CCE to add codes to your dat. It's MUCH better than the R4's quirky editor.

It's what Narin uses to update the dat. It's what I used when I maintained the dat. (I actually started what is now the official GBAtemp dat, just in case you didn't know.
