Hacking +R vs -R

I know verbatim is widely considered the "best" dvd for burning wii games, but I want to know which is better out of +/- (if there even is one).

I use Memorex -R's.

They work fine.

for single layer -R is generally more widely compatible

I always burn my games on TDK DVD+R discs. Never had a failed disc.

best media is consistently verbatim and fujifilm

other stuff works fine on wii though, your not gonna get better loading times or something with one rather than another, if it burns and verifies, youre pretty much golden.

+'rs supposedly work better, but as you can see, many would argue with that, if your chip/loader supports it, burn away

90% of my disc are burnt on dvd+r media, i've only recently started to burn on dvd-r media.

TDK DVD-R for me. They work like a charm.

memorex +R rated at 8x, and always burn at 8x... never had a bad burn yet!!!

Verbatim +R 2.4x = perfect

I believe +R is technologically superior, but -R has better compatibility with different devices

I use Imation DVD-R and burn at 4x they work perfectly.

TDK +R, or Mitsubishi Kagaku branded Verbatim +R, on 4x. Notice your burner makes a hell of a lot difference. Lite-ON and LG are shit, use a Pioneer or a Plextor Burner for best results.
