Hello

A few months ago, I bought a used 3DS :(
And I tried to open the camera, the R button was unresponsive. But then I blew it really hard for 2 days (of course I took breaks) and it worked "permanetly" but a couple of weeks ago, it stopped working again! And now, it works, but it takes a couple of seconds to be pressed.
The button seems fine but..
yeah...

Blowing it out, especially with your mouth, is a temporary fix. An oil free air line and some contact cleaner would be better but depending upon what kind of buildup or failure the surfaces experienced it might not work or just be temporary again. Best is to replace it, or if it is one of those that you can reasonably do it for then there is the option to open it up and clean the contacts before reassembling it.

I give you a hint tho, whenever I blow it, some of the LED's are enabled, no matter what the status!
So, my theory is that under the button there's a *passageway" that reaches other LED's (?) and the button takes a couple of seconds to reach the input...
Hmmmmm...

Now you'll be saying: Just get it into a technician and you're done!
Well..
1.I'll be waiting for 15 days! Which by the time it will arrive, it will be the first day of school! (Just like my PS3 I had to get fixed!)
2.A buttload of monies will be gone
3.They might even make it worse! EVEN worse than I would do! (Because local technicians are... Y'KNOOOW... scamsss)

That sounds like deeper issues, maybe nothing drastic, maybe something quite serious. For a second hand one the usual suspects for me would be someone spilled a drink on it.

Personally I am my own technician but if you have not the time, tools or talent then it would make sense to go to some kind of repair shop. If there are none you care to use and you don't care to tool up for it then play games that don't need the R button to be pressed quickly, remap controls (don't know if there are kernel level ones for the 3ds these days).

I WANT to get it fixed (captain obvious here) but...
Here's my experience of sending my consoles to be fixed
Once upon a time, I found my old PS3 in one of my closets
The PS3 booted up fine, yes, but it couldn't read discs! So I sended my console to a technician! ANNND... I had to wait a buttload of weeks and pay a buttload of money...
OK it was 30 euros BUT STILL!
That's what I'm worried about. Now you will say: DIY :D:D:D
Welp... I have a bad story about my DIY experience!
Once upon another time, I accidentally dropped my PS2 (that dumb) and instead of sending it to someone to get it fixed, I tried to do it myself aaaand... the power button went flying while opening the PS2...
Even then, if I DID want to replace the button, I wouldn't have a replacement!

I'll just send it to a technician and wait about 40 years and pay 50 euroos
