Hardware Quickfix for frame-drop/lag in Zelda BotW

Go to the WiiU settings → TV → Set Sceen Size and drag that all the way down.

The con is that you'll be playing with a black frame around your game

Wouldn't it still be rendering the full image but now it has to scale it down on the fly as well? Wouldn't that make it worse?

i've installed it, can't see much difference in framedrops between v16 and v33..

I prefer buying a tablet that uses 5-year old hardware (strange, since the only tablets actually on par with it are the Shield and the Pixel C) rather than buying a PS4 that pretends to be a PC, but releases with 5-year old hardware on par with $200 laptops and $100 home PCs (and that was in 2014). And the said PS4 is only 2 times as powerful as the Switch.
