Apple quick question: does jailbreaking hurt new battery?

i'm going to get an iphone soon.

will jailbreaking it right away affect the battery in any way?
is it better to let it cycle a few times for better memory retention before jailbreaking it?
or is that all a myth?

Depends on the amount of tweaks you add in. More CPu Usage=Less battery life
