Hacking Quick question about the 1.4 Update

I"m getting a DSI in a few days so I ordered an AK2i which I got today and updated with the 1.4 fix now on my DSL the icon is still the ak2 one not the danny phantom one, does the icon only change when its on a DSI? I only ask because my friends EZFLASH Vi has the tak icon on both his DSI and my DSL.
