You should look up the serial on your Wii (see here how to do that) and then fill it in on that site. Then you will see which drive number it is, and then we can sort off discover which type of modchip it is.
I don't think we can see exactly which modchip it is (without opening your Wii offcourse)

A mod will move this to the appropriate section, don't worry about it.

Brilliant i,m the same as you on the best way would be to open it but i dont want to do that and i dont fancy the forty odd screws esp the way i feel ,lol i,ll go the serial way cheers
