Hello guys, its my first posting here please be gentle with me .
Anyways, i have just bought a switch not long ago and i have finally decided to hack it.
I ordered a 256gb sdxc and is waiting for it to arrive.
I am looking to install ReiNX on my switch following this guide: https://reinx.guide/
In the guide, it says to update my switch and gain exfat support. But, i really don't want to because i am on firmware 3.0.2 now, which may have a possible coldboot option in the future.
So, this is what i plan to do after receiving my sd card and jig.
1. Make a back of my switch using this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/backup-...-your-biskeys-tseckeys-keys-txt-guide.513386/
2. Add exfat support with this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-the-exfat-driver-without-updating-2-x.505176/
Question here: should i use method 1 or method 2?
3. Install ReiNX with this guide: https://reinx.guide/gettingstarted
Am i on the right track?
P/S: is there anygood for me to update to 5.1.0 using choi? or can i just play .nsp on 3.0.2 ?
PP/S: I just found out the ReiNX toolkit has the option for me to backup my nand as well. Should i use Hekate or ReiNX to back up?
