Is the translation patch enough to make the game playable? I don't care about the story, but I just want to be able to know where to go next.

Are there any things that are disliked by everyone? Not just 1 person's problem, I mean a part that is generally hated.
I know that the best way to find out these answers are to download the game, but my internet is REALLY slow so I don't want to waste all that time downloading a game that I might just delete afterwards.
