Hacking Questions about DSTT

I have some questions about the DSTT before I buy it.
1. Will I be able to use the FFIV language patch?
2. Will I be able to use the code for Dragon Quest 4 that unlocks english? How?
3. Is there anything really bad about this card?
4. Is about $30 for this card at leetmod pretty good? The only place I found cheaper was dealextreme but I heard their shipping can be really slow.

There's nothing really bad about the DSTT except that it's missing a few key features that other similarly-priced carts have.

For example, all the roms on the microSD card are presented in one big list regardless of whether you have them organized into folders, whereas most other carts can display and navigate folders. Many other carts will load GBA games directly onto a slot2 GBA expansion cart (such as the EZ 3in1 or the eWin 2in1), but to do this with the DSTT you need to use GBA ExpLoader (you can download it from this site). The biggest annoyance of the DSTT is that it can't sort the roms alphabetically, so basically they will appear in whatever order they were copied to the microSD card. YSMenu (a homebrew menu system for the DSTT) fixes a lot of these problems, but it's not particularly pretty and it doesn't utilize the touch screen very well.

But the DSTT is fast and extremely simple (mainly due to said missing features), so if you're looking for the simplest cart possible (i.e. one that a child could use fairly easily) then this is your cart.

If you want more features and one of the nicest menu systems of any cart for around the same price as the DSTT, you might consider the Acekard 2.

Leetmod.com is a good store if you don't want to wait for dealextreme's slow shipping. Leetmod.com will test your cart before they send it to you, which is a big plus because it reduces the possibility of getting a bad cart.

HOW DO U MAKE SKINS FOR DSTT ANYONE KNOWS I WANT TO MAKE SOME!! LET ME KNOW PLS

The background files are easy, just 2 .bmp's that are cut to 256x196 in size...for the scroll buttons and such, similar process, but you need to edit each one without changing the size...it has to fit in the same space.
