Hacking Questions about downgrading

Hello

First, I have a 3DS XL Animal Crossing edition (Animal Crossing is preinstalled) which is on 5.1 and I dont even have GW (so no EmuNand)
I am going to downgrade it to 4.5.

-Will I loose my game, my save and my Mii?


I saw that game cartridges won't be compatible if we played with them on 6.x+ or EmuNAND based on 6.x+ SysNAND...

-What is game cartridge? Will I be affected by this problem?

No you will not I did not but any games you have downloaded that use a higher FW will not work with out a update tho.

I didn't buy the game, it has been preinstalled!
I only played this game on a lower version than 6.x) and it's not a cartridge, so it should be right?

And for cartridge I thought that it was called retail game

A cartridge is a retail game you buy at a retail store but you can also buy downloaded games at a retail store making downloaded games retail games

Yes, you will be fine, just make sure you backup everything on your SD card to be safe.

I have a 3DS XL currently at 9.2. No downloaded retail games, but I have downloaded eshop games (nes, snes, etc...), and the ambassador games. No gateway purchased yet. Am I still OK to downgrade my 3DS to 4.2 without issues?

Yes that's right, I don't know if it leaves any traces that Nintendo can identify but from our point of view it is completely a 4.5 system.
