Hello,

I have a New 3DS with 9.2 SysNAND and 10.6 EmuNAND.
I would like to know if I have to update Menuhax because of the new *Hax 2.6. If yes how?
Also do I need to update the payloads manually or they will be installed with Menuhax?

Thanks in advance for your help!

just run the menuhax installer again and it will automatically download hax 2.6

Hi! @Giodude

Thanks for your reply.
I only need to install it again? Without uninstalling first?
depends if you have a custom theme with menuhax or not. If you do, change to the blue theme and then reinstall. If you use the basic white theme the just re-run menuhax 2.0 and it just installs.

Thanks for your help @Giodude
I use the basic white theme in SysNAND. Do I need to reinstall it by booting a different exploit like Browserhax in SysNAND? Or I can just coldboot to Menuhax and update from there?
Sorry if it sounds dumb. I'm confused.

Just run menuhax, then the installer. Simple! You did say though you used no custom theme. I always reccomend people to this tool https://gbatemp.net/threads/tinker-shuffle-menuhax-theme-manager.407445/ and this theme https://3dsthem.es/1742

@Giodude
Ok because I just read this from Yellows8:
"when you want to update the *hax payload, you must run the installer again. For this you can do the following: you can remove the SD card before booting the system, then once booted insert the SD card then boot into the *hax payload via a different method"

I don't know what is the cleanest method to do it.
Thanks for your patience!

i just reinstalled it and it worked. Worst case scenario it's still 2.5 which wont happen
So I will update Menuhax via coldboot then. Last question. Do I need to manually delete the payloads on my sd card or they will be overwritten during the reinstall?

also, tip for gbatemp. Doesnt make a difference, but most people use reply instead of @ somebody. Just click reply to the right of any post to reply to it.
