Are there any native linux emulators for wii u in development or is ios access required to do so? If linux ever does come to wii u would it be able to run steam os or the equivalent?
I'd read somewhere in the forums of someone bringing linux to wii u but i can't find it anymore :(, if you do recall finding it can u share us a link? thanks :)

That was Linux geared specifically towards the vWii, not the Wii U's standard mode. And before you ask, I really have no idea if any development for Linux on the Wii U going on. But, I predict in the somewhat distant future there will be the standard, some might say obligatory release for Linux on the Wii U.

    failoverfl0w begs to differ ;D

If I remember right, while Tri-Core Linux (I think that's what they called it) ran in the vWii it was designed to make full use of the Wii U hardware (somehow). But I don't think anyone's worked on that for a while now.
