Hacking [Question] How to play Games without updating

EDIT: Theme Solved, 11.8 doesn´t affect our consoles in every way to play online games

Hi! i followed this awsome page for years and now i got an account, is nice to be part of this page

i Have a annoying problem wich is i got a code for Ho oH on my Pokémon Moon on my N3DS XL on version 11.6.0-39-U and basically when i go to redeem it, the game says me i need to update the Pokémon game, then when i press the update button the console itself says me i need to update the console in order to access to the eShop.

I don´t have my N3DS XL unlocked yet but i want to do it and i know the new version 11.8 basically ruins years of hacks and things like that

My Question is: can in some form hack my N3DSXL in version 11.6 to upgrade it to 11.8 to get acces to the eShop to Update my game and then do downgrade and get back to 11.6 again?

11.8 does not ruin any hacks at all so update and u can still cfw your 3ds

Whoever told you that 11.8 ruins hacks was talking complete and utter bullshit

11.8 does not ruin any hacks at all so update and u can still cfw your 3ds

Again bullshit nintendo generally only ban on the 3ds for cheating online and for playing games online before the official release date. Plus you need to be on latest version to play online anyway

ok i see, so basically nintendo could ban me playing online with a hacked console even if is a legit game, i look a cheap 2DS so probably i will buy that console to play few online games and in the other side i will have a Unlocked N3DS with a sht ton of games to play single player hehe
