Hacking Homebrew Question for psp users

I do not have a psp, but i'm planning on getting one eventually. What I want to know is if you can select what version of firmware you want to update to. Say you have firmware version 2.71, instead of going to the latest one (Which I think is 3.4), could I choose to go to version 3.3 instead?

Yep, you can download and update to any firmware. Not from Sony though, they'll only offer you the latest firmware, but you can get any one you want from QJ.net.
