Hacking Question for a nub :)

OK, im totally new to NDS homebrew, and ive just dug out my old NDS that I havent used for...about 2-3 years.
Its a NEH1******* serial and I have 3 questions about it.
1.
The top screen is sheared and ive lost the charger. Do Nintendo UK sell replacement screens/chargers and how much will it cost?
2.
Can anyone give me a guide for a noob on how to run homebrew on it? also, will it cost me much money to homebrew on it? Ive been looking around and cant find any resellers in the UK.
3.
Finally, because my NDS is older does it offer any advantages over newer NDS', for example, it allows more modifications than newer ones?

Dude, thanks. I can buy a triwing screwdriver and charger for less than £5 each.
I was also gonna ask is the bottom screen (touch) same as the top?
thirdly, does the Acekard 2 have a UK reseller?

So im looking at buying an Acekard 2, ive read good reviews about it.
Is that and a MircoSD card all i'll need?
