If you have a NAND.BIN backup of your 3ds on an earlier firmware, then yes. You could hardmod > flash back to whatever firmware you're backup is on.

Then yeah, if you get / do a hardmod, then you can flash back to your previous firmwares.

Have to dump it using the pasta or gateway menu for N3ds.
It will then appear on the root of your microsd card

You will be more likely to find it on your computer than on your 3DS as formatting EmuNAND erases your SD, and every tutorial on earth tells you to move the backup to your computer before formatting emuNAND.

Impossible, since the other 3DS has different unique IDs in it that wouldn't match your 3DS
