Hacking [Question] Cfw installing

My friend Lucar is going to put many great things on my o3ds.
so he is also installing cfw, which is a problem because it takes really a day to install it and i can't let him bring it home because my mom will get pissed and i'll explain what's up and she still won't understand and me and my friend only see each other at school. is there a way we can fit intervals of pausing (stopping) in installing the cfw? everyday

installing a cfw isn't long at all, especailly if you're on 9.2 already
you can do it in an hour after school at the library or anywhere with access to a computer, or you can go one to another's house

Why don't you follow a tutorial and do it yourself? It's pretty easy to put on rxTools and booting by DS profile exploit. Outdated, but quicker than other ways.

If you are on 9.2, installing it takes less than an hour.

Because i have a expert friend who trying to find a way too. probaly no tutorial on intervening stops between cfw installing

Dude thanks, you solved my probs. i just need to downgrade 10.7 to 9.2 than install cfw under a hour

Downgrading all together to 9.2 and installing cfw took around an hour for me.. There's plenty of noob friendly tutorials on youtube.

Get your friend to write out a guide for you. If you have to downgrade, you don't want to interrupt that or you'll have a chance of bricking. In fact just follow up to the emuNAND section of:

Or continue with the whole guide for the best hack available in the present day.

OK, first thing: I CAN install a CFW within a few minutes. He asked for A9LH too, which is the hard part. That will take a day or two at least, with me only having an hour or two each day.
Two: He WAS on 10.3, downgraded, then updated again because *apparently* browserhax isn't a thing to him.
Three: That guide installs Cakes, not L3DS. You asked for L3DS. I will deliver with L3DS.
Four: I'M TRYING TO KEEP MY TIES INTO REAL LIFE AWAY FROM THE INTERNET AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE DAMNIT.
