I recently got a Wii U thinking it was a homebrew master system and plug-and-play-simple.
Knowing it's so complex, I researched as much as I could but am stumped on a few things.
I'm trying to see if I only need to get a GC adapter or if I'll need more.

Feel free to lock or redirect as relevant.

1. Is playing gamecube games multiplayer with 4 gamecube controllers supported on Wii U homebrew like Nintendont? (with the adapter, beyond the Wii U Pad 1st player input hack)

2. Is there homebrew gamecube multiplayer support with other controllers? (like 4 classics or 4 wii u pros)

3. Do virtual console games or retro emulator games have 1 or more gamecube controllers supported?

4. Have Wii U games been hacked for universal GC controller support?

1. Not sure myself, check the Nintendont thread for that one, no for the others.
2. Yes, up to 4 players with a combination of Classics. Again, check the 1st post on the Nintendont thread for more info.
3. No
4. No

EDIT: The GC Adaptor has 4 ports so you'll only need to buy one anyway - get it bought! ;)
