Hacking Question about vitamin and maidumptool

which one is better? whats the difference between the two? i heard that maidumptool is somehow shady like it injects something in the game is this true?

what are some essential or favorite homebrew

The advantage of Vitamin over maidump is that it supports plugins (for overclocking and cheating e.g.), but Maidump does much higher quality dumps then Vitamin ever will do (this has to do with how Vitamin works).

The homebrew question is completely seperated from you first question and the thread title dosn't refers to it at all... I skip that one.

Vitamin's(2.0) main advantage is the DLC support. Both handle plugins well. maidump has relocation support for modules that makes the compatibility a bit higher. The dumping process for maidump also bypasses some games that won't dump due to memory relocation.

maidump can fail to dump some games Vitamin handles easily and reverse.
