Hello everyone!
I have a Switch V1.0 with Atmosphere, and I’d like to modify my original save files(created on the stock firmware) for Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition. I don’t plan to use heavy cheats—just increase drop rates for the equipment I need. Here’s what I want to do:

  1. Transfer the original save to Atmosphere/EMUMMC.
  2. Use Edizon offline to unlock what I need.
  3. Restore the modified save back to the original firmware (CFW).
Is this doable?

  • Will I risk a ban even if I only make minor edits?
  • Which tool is better for this: JKSV or Checkpoint?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for all the questions!

A mod is a mod regardless of severity or the intention of that mod, and you need a mod to copy the save to/from your original fw. In doing so, you will leave traces for big N to detect. If you never go online again, then there's no chance of getting banned. If you do, there's always that chance. I don't think anyone here can guarantee you 100% that you won't be banned. I sense that not getting banned is important to you for such a small thing. My recommendation to you is don't do it and keep your ofw clean.
