Hacking Question about save files

I'm not sure where to ask this. Sorry if I'm in the wrong section.

Due to lack of outdated firmwares, inability to play certain games, etc, etc. for the supercard lite (SLOT 2) I bought two years ago. I'm deciding whether I should buy the R4i/ultra or not. (That's the only thing I see in stores here and yes, I know it's an R4 clone). Seeing that their latest kernel was released on Oct 2009 I'm quite convinced about getting the R4i especially seeing that the supercard lite firmware hasn't been updated since last year's March.

My question is that will Supercard .sav files with compatible with the R4i?

And if you guys strongly object my decision on getting R4 Ultra/i, I would like to know the reasons.

The .sav file should work on the R4i.

I also want to recommend maybe waiting for the Supercard DSTWO to be released because it is supposed to have more features then any other card, and also have a new and maybe faster menu.

If you don't want to wait for that, go with the Acekard 2i (The supercard saves should work on this as well).

As rule of thumb, avoid every R4 branded card out there. They're mostly clones of clones, and they tend to work badly or not being updated at all.

The DSTWO shouldn't be too far... in the worst case it should be out for January.

NEVER EVER buy an R4.

And I suggest waiting for the DSTWO too.
